Information You Provide to Us

You can visit Intelsat General’s website without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself.  We collect personal information about you, such as your name and email address (“Personal Information”) if you were identified as a contact in a service order or contacted us for technical support, create an account on our Career site, fill out a form on our website or blog, sign up to receive our newsletter, submit a comment on our blog, or email us.

Many of our Services can be used without registering with us.

If you email us, we may retain a record of such email communication, including your email address, the content of your email, and our response.

Information We Collect Automatically

As you use the Service, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including details of your visits to our website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the website, and information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type. Law Enforcement.  We may disclosure your personal information if required to do so by law or subpoena.  We may also disclose your information to governmental authorities or law enforcement if we believe that it is reasonably necessary to do so in order to comply with a law or regulation; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect Intelsat’s rights or property.

In an Aggregate and Non-Personally Identifiable Manner.  We may disclose aggregate, non-personally identifiable information about the overall use of our Service publicly or with interested third parties to help us improve the Service.

In Connection with a Sale or Change of Control.  If Intelsat General becomes involved in a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or transaction involving the sale of all or substantially all of its assets, Intelsat may disclose and/or transfer your information during any such process.

• Be Informed and Access Data – You can ask us what personal information we maintain about you and ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Change or Correct Data – You can ask us to change, update or fix your data in certain cases, if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete or Restrict Data – You can ask us to delete or restrict how we use your personal information, but this right is determined by applicable law and may impact your access to some of our Services There may be legal or other official reasons why we need to keep or use your data.
• Take Data – You can ask us for a copy of the data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
• Object to Processing of Data – You can ask us to stop processing or using all or some of your information (e.g. if we have no legal right to keep using it).
