Tom Kiernan
Tom Kiernan serves as General Counsel for Intelsat General Corporation as well as Corporate Secretary for the Board of Directors. He is responsible for managing all legal and regulatory compliance aspects for the company. Mr. Kiernan also oversees Administration, including human resources, security and contracts.
Prior to joining Intelsat General Corporation in 2003, Mr. Kiernan spent the previous three years as a member of the parent company's Office of General Counsel, where he was responsible for providing the lead legal support to major satellite and launch programs, as well as for real estate, procurement and intellectual property issues.
Prior to joining Intelsat in May 2000, Mr. Kiernan served for six years as the sole corporate counsel for SRA Life Sciences, a government contractor located in Falls Church, VA, which specialized in technology consulting services in support of the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, EPA and various federal health agencies. Mr. Kiernan received his BA degree from Virginia Tech and his law degree from George Mason University.
