Thomas Foust

Regional Vice President, Global Network Solutions

Mr. Thomas Foust is Intelsat General’s Vice President of Global Network Solutions, and is responsible for managing the sales organization that serves IGC’s customers, including the Department of Defense, NATO, civil agencies, as well as commercial customers within the U.S and Europe.


Mr. Foust has more than 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, ranging from telephone and computer switching systems to satellite services. While serving in the U.S. Air Force, Mr. Foust served as Central Office Supervisor, Supervisor of the Strategic Air Command Digital Information Network (SACDIN) at Whitman Air Force Base, MO; Quality Control Supervisor at Rhein Main Air Base, Germany and Contracts Manager at DITCO (DISA) at Scott Air Force Base, IL. Mr. Foust received a Joint Meritorious Service Medal and multiple Air Force Meritorious Service and Commendation Medals for his Air Force service.


Upon retiring from the Air Force in 1995, Mr. Foust held management positions with Satellite Communication Systems, Inc.; 3N1 Communications (Owner) and Verestar/Americom Government Services. While at Verestar Mr. Foust was a key contributor in the creation of the Verestar Government Services organization, now owned by SES.


Mr. Foust has an Associate’s Degree in Electronic Systems Technology, a BS degree in Management Information Systems and an MA degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University
